L'Escargot 1903 — Restaurant in Arrondissement of Nanterre

Food was good! Wine was good. Price is good. We went out really stuffed. The chef comes out to serve food every now and then. One thing that I didn't appreciate (and do not expect for a michelin guide restaurant) is that when one of the servers served the appetizer, I saw there was a strand of hair and the server tried pushing it off the plate by poking her finger on the plate, and instead of apologizing she just said "oh, that's not hair, that's just from the coffee beans". I guess she realized it was hair, so she grabbed the plate and didn't say anything, didn't apologize, nothing. Just ran off with the plate. She gave us a new one, but still... The restaurant was nice and comfortable and staff courteous and friendly. Food was good, although being non beef eaters put us at a disadvantage as some of the plats where the original recipe included meat was served to us without the meat. We would have expected the beef to be replaced with some other meat that we eat (likely bird or porc). Nous sommes partis déjeuner avec mes collègues au restaurant ce midi. Une fois à table, le champagne servi (dans des verres à vin) nous avons fait une BLAGUE entre nous disant que nous avions le droit de boire plus qu'un verre comme nous avions réservé pour 15 alors que nous étions 10. Le serveur inquiet, reporte ce qui a été dit auprès de son manager (fils du chef ANCIENNEMENT étoilé Michelin). Le manager vient nous préciser (sans avoir posé la question) que nous allons payer pour 10 et non pas pour 15 et dit devant tout le monde le prix par personne. Je trouve cela pas du tout professionnel surtout que c'était un déjeuner de Noël organisé par l'entreprise et il le savait comme nous avions déjà réglé un acompte. Une fois passé au plat, le serveur nous sert le vin rouge dans le même verre que le champagne, ce qui n'est pas acceptable pour un restaurant gastronomique. Bref, une fois fini de manger, ma responsable se lève pour payer le reste de l'addition et APRES avoir réglé elle lui dit gentiment que son comportement n'était pas professionnel au début et qu'il ne devait pas dire les prix devant tout le monde. Il s'énerve très vite, commence à parler très mal et la suit dehors. Une fois dehors, nous sommes intervenus en lui disant de rester correcte, il continue à crier en nous disant "partez, nous n'avons pas besoin de vous".
