Found this place, no waiters about so sat down at an empty table and waited. Large bearded guy in shorts, t-shirt and red baseball cap eventually came over (he was the waiter) and when he found out we had simply sat down without waiting he wasn't happy at all and left us in no doubt of that fact. We never got any water or bread, and he cleared several empty tables before cleaning our table of the previous occupants stuff; then he laid our table and when my wife turned over her freshly laid water glass, he picked it up and turned back down. As we were a group of 7 on vacation, that didn't bother us, especially when we were too busy enjoying the tasty food! Would totally recommend to everyone passing...
Read moreRip off and poor service. €18 for just one bottle of Evian and one lager?! Asked for an Evian and small beer, in perfectly good French. Got just the Evian. After some time, reminded them of the beer. They brought a large one, but it had already been a while, so I just took it. €18 for that! It was very quiet too, so no excuses. Must be awful when busy! Sort of theft I expect in Paris, not here. Lovely, quiet little square but...
