Don't let yourself get tempted by the cosy terrace on a nice square! We did and were thouroughly disappointed. We were seated at a table which hadn't been cleared yet. No problem, had it been done within a reasonable time. In spite of our effort the waitress simply ignored us and happened to be deaf as well. After FORTY-FIVE minutes exactly, she came to our table and cleared it partly. We asked for the menu and got one card for the 2 of us. Then we had to ask for the wine-card. She just smacked it on the table. After a little while another girl (dressed in black) came to take our order. Ten mins later we still had no drinks. Then I asked the 1st waitress for our wine. Reaction : the other girl took your order!! After I insisted she did take the trouble to ask her collegue for our wine. 3 mins later our food arrived. My Asian salad was not too bad for taste. Yet the lettuce was not crispy at all. I had the impression, the dressing had been added hours before. Moreover 3 shrimps on a shrimp salad is rather mediocre, I think. In short service was Simply non-existent, the waitresses, especially the first one, was just rude. This was...
Read moreWas hungry after a long drive to Avignon and decided to stop by after seeing that they had a patio in a courtyard outside. It definitely did not disappoint! We were not expecting much (actually thought the menu was fairly limited with only 3 entrées for lunch) but it ended up being one of the best meals we have had so far on our trip to France!
We got the fish dish and pork belly. We don't pay much attention to how our meals look but the presentation was just amazing with beautifully plated dishes. 👏 We were a bit blown away. The food itself was DELICIOUS though, once we had a bite. The fish was soft and almost melts in your mouth; it was the same with the pork belly! I'm not a fan of pork but it was just SO soft. I loved every bite of it and wish we had more.
Portions were not big (ended up grabbing snacks to eat after) but the food is...
Read moreAbsolute recommendation! The menu is changing on a daily basis, depending what fresh produce was bought at the market that day, all dishes are incredibly creative, well thought through and executed to perfection. They grow part of the produce themselves and work with local farmers (e.g. the supplier of the amazing goats cheese, that owns only about 20 goats.) The 2 waiters were very kind, welcoming and gave great wine recommendations. The prices are absolutely fair for the amazing quality you get. Card payment possible (since it was mentioned in other reviews that it’s not possible - this must be related to the previous owner). We went twice in 2 days because it was so good and could have not been an happier about this choice. The photo quality doesn’t do the food any justice - I can only recommend to go and experience this amazing...
