The owner made the whole experience for us. He was just lovely, warm, great with the kids, advised us well and wasn't pushy, and the food was great too, especially the more traditional Vietnamese dishes. He was actually very good about telling us the portions were big so maybe too much for the kids. I can't help wondering why people got a different experience: it seems people are very quick to complain and expect the world to stop for them, so if you act badly, maybe you get treated badly? This is a small, cheap, family restaurant making fresh, homemade food to order. People should respect that fact and understand how they need to operate, and maybe they will get the same fantastic experience...
