When they opened at 7PM, was able to be immediately seated. Super friendly staff with prompt order service. Our drinks were always filled and very quick bill payment at the counter. Ordered the pasta carbonara with onion and my partner ordered the pork filet with the Normand Sauce. It was a special. They had great cider available too. Dessert was probably one of the best creme brule dishes I've had in a very long time. Others around me were having pixxas and calzones and they all looked amazing. Will go back next time in town. Do recommend getting early as they were turning people away.

My daughter had a burger and fries. If you're looking for an American burger, this is it! My daughter wanted a little break from local faire and really enjoyed her meal. I had the salmon bagel with fries and it was delicious. The creme brulee was perfection and the chocolate mousse was delish as well.

Ordered the lunch menu 13.50€ faux filet. When waitress said the beef we said yes only to find out this was not the lunch menu price 70€ charged with wine and coffee. Feel badly misled and disappointed. The food was excellent but did not receive what ordered. Be very careful here.

We had a fantastic meal at Le Florentin during our visit to the beautiful town of Bayeux – a real highlight of our trip to Normandy! The restaurant is perfectly located in the heart of this charming historic town, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff.

The food was absolutely superb – we ordered the La Burger pizza and the Savoyarde pizza, and both were packed with incredible flavours. The toppings were generous and high quality, the bases were crisp and perfectly cooked, and the combinations were just delicious. You can really tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation.

On top of the great food and service, it was amazing value for money. We left full, happy, and already planning a return visit next time we’re in the area.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bayeux – Le Florentin...

Foreign tourist here.

It was getting late (8 - 9 pm). I walked in and noticed the restaurant was quite busy so I figured they'd still be open. The hostess (whom spoke French) greeted me and so I gestured that I wanted a table.

She wasn't seating me and kept insisting to me in French, so I politely pulled out my translator app. She then scoffs and rolls her eyes. I gathered that she was saying that the service has closed.

I then apologize and make my leave. This left her with time to say "Byeee" in a condescending...
