My family and I were visiting the Bayeux Cathedral when we saw this adorable pink cafe. They had the most adorable christmas decorations on the outside that drew us in. Once we entered, it was if we stepped into Santa's own workshop. Christmas was everywhere and we loved it! We sat down and ordered our drinks. I had a hot chocolate with vanilla flavoring. Oh my goodness. So delicious! It warmed me right up from the chilly weather outside. Our drinks were accompanied by the chocolate cake and flan. Thw flan was my favorite! Our families were traveling through Normandy with two very active, hungry and jetlagged three-year-olds. After receiving a very icy reception at a different restaurant and deciding not to stay, we stumbled upon this adorable tea shop across from the cathedral. What a relief it was to receive such a warm welcome from the proprietress. Although she didn't speak much English and our French was non-existent, we were able to order tasty breakfasts and hot drinks for our party of six, and relax in the cozy, inviting atmosphere.
