Le P'tea Cosy — Restaurant in Bayeux

We had great expectations, because the menu looked really promising. We ordered a croque monsieur, an egg and cheese omelette and avocado toast. All of these dishes came wish side salads. The salads were crunchy (not in a good way: sand between my teeth), and soggy and had lemon pips in the guacamole. The omelette was burnt on the outside and runny on the inside. When I talked to the waiter about the salad issue the answer was defensive: this was not possible. A bit later his colleague/boss came by and denied the same thing. She said she washed the salad for three (!!) hours. She did give us a discount, but in the end we left hungry and with sand between our teeth. The only thing I would recommend...

Expensive and low quality. The cappuccino is everything but that. I expect slotted milk with a fine structure. The milk in the cup of my wife had already completely disappeared as it arrived on the table. The cheesecake is....well very fat and only cream and some cake. The only reason to sit here is the view.

Reaction from the owner is that it's not cappuccino, but Viennese coffee. Well, the why put the word "cappuccino" on the card??! If you write cappuccino, than also offer cappuccino instead of "coffee with...

Ice coffee is like water with a little taste and colour of coffee, cafe moka is the same. I do not recommend this place at all. Do not waste your money!!! Nobody asked us our opinion about how it was, so strange what you dare to write to a customer. I wouldn’t recommend your shop to anybody. I can make better ice coffe at home with very simple ingredients. Customer is queen they say in our land, but not in your shop it seems. You can not even accept direct critism.
