Great little lunch spot! It was busy even though it was technically not high season, but we managed to grab a seat on the decking, which was well protected with the side panels. The menu was typical for the area - French dishes such as mussels as well as croque monsieur and galettes. The menu was bilingual into English, and even though the server didn't speak English we were able to muddle through with our basic French. We had two galettes and two croques, both absolutely delicious and served quite quickly. We spent around 20 - 30 euro per person as we had sides and drinks but you can easily get it under 20. The La Biquette galette was especially good, and the server recommended drizzling honey on it, and I'm glad she did as it perfectly balanced the goats cheese strength. It can be a bit overwhelming when you're in a tourist town and everyone is offering similar things, but we're really glad we took the plunge on this one as it was a really delicious lunch!

I had lunch at Terre D'Escale on a Saturdsy lunchtime that was very busy as it was a long weekend. The restaurant was almost full, and it took a while to be given menus and then for our order to be taken. I ordered the Croque Monsieur. It took a while for the food to be prepared. I found the bread was very dry and I didn't finish my sandwich because of that.

We had 2 different Galette, which were savory and crispy. Generously filled with bacon and cheese and egg as ordered. The sweet crepes we had were tender and covered with perfectly cooked fruit and homemade caramel, topped with ice cream and served with a large pile of whipped cream. Worth the stop.
