We initially decided to stop at this restaurant for a drink as we were walking through Biarritz busy street on a very hot day. It is placed on a place with views of the ocean and the church Saint Eugenie. We ordered couple Aperols which were well prepared. Service was great, efficient and people were nice. One patron had a german sheppard dog and they immediately brought it a bowl of water. After a while as we enjoyed the sea breeze, the ambience, etc , we decided to stay for diner. We ordered the plate with Serrano and cheese and a ceviche of trout. Both were pretty good. We also ordered a bottle of red wine( cote de rhone ‘le pas de la baume’) which i would not recommend. All in all we had a good experience, great service so we will come back. One thing a bit unusual is that you have to pay inside after asking waiter for your table number. Update: we came back the next day and experience was less stellar. Somehow our waitress was confused and forgot about our table. We ordered Aperols and then wanted to order some wine. After 45 min no one showed up. I went inside to order but was told quite rudely to return to my table, someone will come over. No one came. I then asked the person who handle restaurant seating and he took care of our order. We had pate as well served still in a can which wasn’t exactly the best way to...

5 stars to the lovely staff and waiters, for this reason I give 2. (because staff does not = restaurant)

Great terrace, location, etc. I read reviews while I was sitting down, (mostly bad), it's April so slow season, I had great service.

Food. Can't say much. I had mussels that are meant to have the parsely white wine sauce. Some one threw half a table spoon of 'sauce' into it, there was almost no oil or sauce, just some mussels. Not a fair review, I didn't eat more than a 9 euro pintxo of cold mussels with almost no sauce... Guys. Sauce.

No. I wouldn't eat here probably based on reviews and the dish I had, but in slow season the employees are so lovely looks like a great place to have drinks or coffee. You have a great location hope you improve the menu cause the reviews don't...

We reserveded for Saturday May 29th via phone. On the phone we told them we have a loyalty card cheque from logis and made sure they accepted them. They told us yes, just bring them with you and you can use them as long as there is the price and code on it.

When we arrived the waiter was confused as he told us they didn't accept reservations but still seatesd us, we had a satisfactory meal, even though several items on our order were forgotten.

When we went to pay they refused to take the valid vouchers we had, even though they had confirmed on the phone. A disgrace in handling the situation and a taint on their name. Feel scammed by their behavior and will pass the around. As well as put in a complaint to logis about their conduct.

I do NOT RECOMMEND ...

We were warmly welcomed with exceptionally friendly service that went above and beyond to accommodate my partner and me, despite our last-minute arrival. The food was delightful — we ordered the Entrecôte, Caesar salad, and hake, all of which were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. Everything was prepared with care, showcasing simple dishes done exceptionally well. A great experience from start to finish, with both service and flavors exceeding expectations. Highly recommended!
