If you enjoy eating in a cafeteria, you'll love this place. This restaurant is huge. Huge. I'm guessing they have 250 seats. Maybe 300. There are two waitresses. You can imagine how much time the servers have for the customers. They make it immediately apparent that they expect you to order completely, including any dessert. They are frantic and they have no time.
The restaurant is about one city block deep. I'm not exaggerating. Two waitresses need to run back and forth from the kitchen to serve people a city block away.
When my main course arrived it was flung in front of me and the waitress vanished. She did not notice that my empty wine glass was parked on the corner of the table in the international language expressing please could I have another one? She did snatch my glass from the corner of the table as she was sprinting past a couple of minutes later, but she did not ask me if I would like another glass.
I come to a restaurant to receive two things: food and hospitality. Lack of the latter can ruin the former. Abundance of the latter can fix problems with food.
The food here was sort of okay. I would give it a C minus. My main, dorade, was dry and overcooked. Presented fancy but overcooked.
The hospitality was an absolute F.

Read moreI was very surprised by the great food and atmosphere. We had a last minute table on their 1st dinner service during the busy wine auction weekend. They had their menu formula for the evening, including an option for children. I must say the food was very good: simple, tasty, fresh. We had the beef bourguignon and chicken with morels sauce. Even my son finished his chicken nuggets (well fried, moist and crispy). The place is naturally loud, so it was no issue to make some extra noise. Wine list was limited, but ok for the purpose. A good...
Read moreWe loved this place. They accepted us with our dog without reservation, they were almost full, we were lucky ;) but there was no place at the terrace, so we stayed inside at the restaurant, close to the bar sitting on the long chairs with a long table. It was comfortable and the meals were really delicious. Very fresh salad with fried goat cheese, grilled vegetables with herring, shrimps with 2 different sauce and tuna fish with fennel. Tres bien!! Also the white wine that they suggested was very good....
