Pretty good place to eat a good dinner in Beaune. I tried this place after being in Beaune for 5 days, going to different restaurants every night. I saw the Yelp reviews and they seemed convincing, so I figured I'd give it a try.
I went for dinner on a Saturday night at 7pm (right when they open) without a reservation looking for a table for 2. The earliest available opening they had was 9pm, which was fine, I was expecting that after reading the Yelp reviews. I ordered a fixed menu of gougere with snails, foie gras and sweet garlic cream, and a sea bass main, with an "infinite chocolat" dessert. All courses were good, except the sea bass had a tendon running through it that disrupted the skin in each bite.

Both were divine The wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Brasserie Le Belena made our last night in Beaune memorable and we will definitely be back. We highly...

The biggest disappointment came with the duck fillet. It’s difficult to isolate what was wrong with the dish. Seems like the execution was just completely off. Our neighbors also complained about the duck course.
The zucchini risotto side dish was a complete abomination. Not close to what risotto is supposed to be. We also had the red mullet, which was fine-ish but felt overcooked.
The cheeses were not of the right quality/temperature to consume. Specifically, Brie was just too hard...
