I just happen to stumble on this charming restaurant tonight. The waiter Tim was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and wine choices and spoke English! They have a weekly set menu. Tonight was a leek miso salad or beet salad. The entree was butternut gnocchi with mushrooms or tender pork tenderloin with a side of delicious sautéed mushrooms. Read moreWe came upon this gem by chance, whilst searching for a 'quieter' place to eat. The proprietor kindly translated the full menu for us, describing all the ingredients in every dish. When the weather started to look a little grey, we (all 6 of us) were offered a back room, and the tables were reset. All main course dishes were cooked to order, and beautifully presented.
