The most amazing night we had in Saint Gervais (so far). They had just opened their terrace and had a live musician playing accordian and guitar. Then Xuan joined in and crooned (old and new standards) all night long. Incredibly talented chef AND musican? We had no idea - we just stumbled in and got lucky. Turns out she and the accordianist used to perform together, and it showed.
As for the food... such delicious eats. Haute-Savoie regional food can get a bit heavy on these hot summer nights, so the asian dishes here were very welcome. And slammin' in the flavor department. Tapas-style. Finger foods. Presented beautifully by hospitable staff.

In short, it’s a French/Vietnamese tapas and cocktail bar. There were 0 vegetarian options, although we suggested just not putting meat in the dish, which baffled the server at first but then agreed. The server was so stressed and busy he did not explain the menu properly. He was running around clearly overwhelmed. We waited over an hour for one small bowl of white rice (cost 10e) and a dish of noodles and veggies. It seems this place makes good food (none of which we got to try) but they need more staff. 10/10 would...
