L'argentero — Restaurant in Bonneville

My buddies and I thought there would be breakfast items to grab before heading up the mountain. There were, just the selection was croissants or bread with jelly, the drinks were available as well. It was a small downer but understandable when I think about people coming from the town right to the gondola. Maybe not many people stop in for breakfast items, so they provide quick bites.

This place is a gem. I stopped for coffee / hot chocs a few weeks ago, and was really taken aback - in a very good way - by how incredibly helpful and friendly the staff are. Excellent, beautifully presented hot chocolate too. The food smelled amazing so we stopped for late lunch today. Same incredible service. Mattias helped find the perfect table, and we then had the best French Onion soup in the valley, and an excellent Tarte au Chocolat. Looking forward to returning again...

Fantastic bar and restaurant, under new management and after a full refurbishment. We were lucky enough to visit in a beautiful summer evening when they had the bbq going, and had music. All of the dishes were perfectly cooked and flavoursome, and were well presented. The small plate of foccacia and vegetables provided while we were waiting for our meals could have been an appetiser in itself. The staff were excellent, and they had local craft beers on tap.
