La Ferme Saint-Amour — Restaurant in Bonneville

Well, what to say! The place could be a good place. Good location, nice space, music is good( that is the minimum anywhere) but:

Pretentious staff desperate to take your money. Average food, always pushing to make you drink their most expensive beverage.

SCAM! on additions (especially check your additions carefully if you have the bad idea to go there), extortion of tip by the waiters. Despicable extorsion mentality of the beach clubs imported to Megeve. One generous star for the atmosphere (already seen everywhere and therefore nothing original) if you manage to get inside without paying 1500€ for drinks. They pretend they are full ( even if it’s half empty) and then miraculously finds you a table for thousands €! you’ll find even better ambiant in many other places in Megeve but this one is by far the most despicable place because of the dishonest staff who are probably pushed by their management to pump our money by any means. I won’t even details the number of people I know that got their confirmed reservations canceled at the last minute.

Food was good. But the service was shocking. We were greeted by a snotty hostess, staring at her iPad, that our booking wasn’t confirmed despite it being booked by the hotel and having a confirmation. They made a big deal about finding us a table for 5 and advising us they need the table back within an hour and half (the same complaints I’ve seen many times on google and trip advisor) - Our entire meal was rushed. The table was cleared whilst we were eating (you do not clear a table until the last person is finished) and two waitresses tried to take my plate as I was finishing my stater!! We were then told we don’t really have time for desert before the 2nd seating of tables for the evening.

For such a restaurant you do not rush your guests that are over ordering, over paying and trying to have a nice relaxed evening.

Overall the worst service in all of Megeve during 8 nights of meals - just a shame it was...

This was an awful service; undoubtedly the worst we’ve ever received. Waiters have no manners and are aggressive. We got kicked out after main course. The service was also super slow, so they just don’t manage their time-windows and are rude/ pushy. They forced the bill on us as they needed the table. We asked for desert and they said they needed the table and wouldn’t give us the option to take a desert and needed to pay right away and get out. Impolite and you get treated with zero respect; one of those places with no class. Even though you are a big table of 6 that had wine, starters, mains, etc. None of us...
