Black List Café — Restaurant in Bordeaux

Tried the juices as recommended by other people; I had the Apple, fennel and ginger which was the juice of the day, it was 100% juice! Quality I would say but slightly pricey!

I ordered the croque madame as well. LOVED IT. Bread was lightly toasted, crispy and soft in the centre. The egg was well cooked and the ham and cheese.. 😍 fragrant! We had the brownie too, it’s really chocolatey, which I didn’t expect!

Small, cosy cafe with very friendly staff who speak French & English which made our lives so much easier for the week we were in Bordeaux. We were lucky enough to find this cafe on our first day and came every day thereafter because the coffee was very good and the service was excellent. Nice place to have a coffee next to the Bordeaux cathedral. Everything ok, but not exceptional. Maybe we had too high expectations as the place is included in some “besf of” internet ratings, and it fell a bit short. It has a couple of tables outside and not a very large menu to complement the coffe. The place is dedicated to coffee and it was overall very decent.
