L'Annexe — Restaurant in Bordeaux

A good and chill spot for lunch. We came here after visiting La Cite du Vin for a quick bite around 2. It was nice that they close at 3.

We didn't take advantage of their menu of the day so it was a bit pricy - total 40 euros for a half of dozen oysters, a burger plate and a fish ceviche. The oysters were quite salty compared to the ones I had in the states. The burger was really good and the ceviche was clean tasting so good if you want something light and healthy.

Service was friendly but a bit sloppy, the food was a big let down, we had the gravadlax that was under cured and too thick more like sashimi and the coleslaw unedable , the special, Bavette was over cooked, no season and covered on conffited onions that made it too sweet and the french fries were soggy. For a wine bar only 2 whites 2 roses and 4 reds on the list in Bordeaux is just not...

Je suis venue manger avec des amies un midi, ce n'était pas la première fois que je venais et leur avais donc vendu le côté sympa de ce petit restaurant. Malgré un premier accueil agréable, le service s'est dégradé à partir du moment ou nous avons demandé (gentiment) à changer de table, dès lors le personnel s'est montré nonchalant ... (commentaires désobligeant vis à vis des clients déjà installés, ne demande même pas au moment du débarassage si tout s'est bien passé...). En revanche le repas était comme à son habitude bon et de qualité. Dommage que le comportement des serveurs soient venus gâcher ce moment à la base convivial.. Peut-être que c'était juste une mauvaise journée, mais je ne viens pas manger au restaurant pour avoir ce genre de comportement ... Pour la cuisine, je recommande volontiers ! Pour le service, j'espère que vous aurez plus de chance...
