La Guinguette Chez Alriq — Restaurant in Bordeaux

One of the best place in Bordeaux during summer. Nice people, nice music and good food and not so much expensive !!! The unique issue are coming from the Kitchen Organization and the employees behind the bar. It's like Kitchen employees, in particular the chef Woman is fighting all the time with Cashier and Bar tenders. I was doing the queue to order for 20 min and then when it was my turn, Cashier told me that he can accept at the moment only beverages orders and for food I will need to wait other 30 min before they can take my order because Kitchen was in burn Out. So I was waiting on the side of the bar other 30 min to be able to order food. But after 30 min The Cashier told me that he was very sorry but the kitchen responsible decided to not take any other food order. Total, I've wait in the queue for more than 1 hour to order without success. It was only 9:20 Pm when they decide to close definitely the Food order. We was with children and we were not able to feed them...The employees absolutely don't care about your problems. No respect at all. It seems that there is a very bad ambiance between them. So the place and music is ok but if you want to eat you must be lucky and if you are looking for employees taking care of their customers,...

Fuimos con un grupo de amigos por recomendación de otro. La idea era cenar, tomar algo y ya. Resulta que a la entrada del restaurante nos cobraron una tasa de 7 euros por persona ya que ese dia tocaba un grupo de "musica" internacional que jamás tuvimos intensión de escuchar ni ver. Nos dijeron que la entrada igual para todos aunque solo fuimos a comer y ya que era tarde para cambiar planes no nos quedó otra que pagar. Sin darnos cuenta de que adentro no habia más lugar estuvimos paseandonos en el jardín buscando y esperando a ver quien se iba de su mesa para poder sentarnos en un lugar adecuado ya que también empezó a llover y las únicas mesas que quedaban estaban al aire libre. Después de media hora esperando y a punto de irnos y pedir un reembolso por el dinero pagado en la entrada se nos ocurrió hacer nuestro propio lugar metiendo una mesa del patio al único lugar que quedaba "libre" en el interior. La comida es básicamente autoservicio como en el Mc, vas la pides y te dan un aparato que te llevas a la mesa y vibra cuando tu orden esta lista. No puedo decir que fue el mejor plato de mi vida, las patatas estaban pasadas de fritura pero el vino estaba bueno. La atención del personal de caja muy buena, muy amables las chicas.

No puedo decir que disfrutamos del "espectáculo" ya que ese tipo de música no es del agrado de cualquiera y tampoco es propia de un restaurante.

El lugar estaba atestado de niños corriendo por toda el área por lo que si te gustan los ambientes ruidosos y "familiares" éste...

Found this on Google maps as I was wandering nearby. It was such a lively place. There was an entrance fee of €8 for the live band. After a while of translating their menu items, I ordered the lamb chops (€16). It was well done but not tough at all. It had this crispy char on the outside.
