My review is just that, my experience on the day. I compare restaurants by expectation and value for money, I do not expect a Michelin star meal at a 15€ per mains restaurant, I expect to receive value for money whilst still rating the venue at the range they intend to portray. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We had - Lunch Day of week we visited - Friday Ease of parking – We Walked - no vehicle access to area, parking 150mt underground parking Ease of Access for Disabled – Flat easy access, one easy step to inside for toilets and covered dining Staff Greeting & seating – 9/10 - Table & Chair comfort – 10/10 - waiter levelled the table - Square table made for ample room for two.`` Overall cleanliness - 10/10 - General ambience – 9/10 - Music if any - None Just superb views Water provided - Yes Menu languages – French / with QR code, in excellent English Range of options on menu – 10/10 - Drink preparation time in minutes – 3 minutes or so, good Main fair - Meat / Seafood / Veg / Pizza / Local Mains Pricing range – From 15 € to 70€ - With an average about 26€ Food waiting time to order in minutes - 15min - quite acceptable Food presentation – 9/10 - Food quality – 9/10 - Clearance of dishes – generally good but slow after desert Staff friendliness – 10/10 - WC, Clean-stocked – 10/10 - mixed sex Would I go back – Yes Maybe Stand outs: Pro's - Views, location, Friendly well run operation Con's - Alfresco would be cold on a windy day, our day...

Our 2nd waiter (the first one disappeared) was much better. We ordered a Salad Cesar and an Entrecote with Frites. The steak was OK to good, but part of my 'rare' cut was pretty much just warmed up. The salad was a huge disappointment - iceberg lettuce? Really? We love anchovies, but the anchoise dressing was very fishy (turned?) to the point my wife could not eat it. Sliced frozen chicken breast pieces, breaded, a bit too dry to enjoy, and with bits of the very fishy dressing all over it. Sadly, although our excellent waiter could see we were disappointed, he was unable to convince the restaurant to discount or refund the salad. Great coffee (this is France, right?), and delicious ice-cream and sorbet dessert. We agree with other reviewers - the cathedral and...
Read moreTerrible eating experience at Cafe Rohan. We took our seats, my partner and I, and it was some 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. Our order taken we eagerly awaited our food. i had a traditional spaghetti bolognese, my partner had carbonara. When the food arrived it was slapped on the table without a word from the waitress, and on taking the first mouthful it was stone cold. Half way through eating another waiter came and slapped a basket of bread rolls and parmesan cheese on the table and just walked off, what was the point we had almost finished eating. Not one of the staff could be bothered to engaged in conversation with us apart from when it came to paying the bill. Only positive i can say about this review is the settings and surrounding buildings...
