Phenomenal, inspired, original. Madame Pang executes on a modern culinary vision with competency that's hard to come by. It's dim sum, but dim sum entwined with European flavors. From shrimp and scallop ravioli (aka dumplings) in an undeniably French sea urchin/butter sauce, to melt-in-your-mouth octopus paired with creamed corn evoking basque cuisine - it all works, it's all delicious, you might be tempted to ask for a spoon for what's left of a few sauces.
You'll also find some classic dishes like Beef Yunnan (bursting with szechuan peppercorn flavor), Siu Mai, and Madam Pang's Crispy Chicken -- a subtle and refined variation of a dish that might be crassly called "orange chicken" at major takeout chains -- but realized here in all its glory. For dessert, blue cheese stuffed bao buns with orange marmalade - the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and umami. They're just brilliant.
The cocktail menu is impeccable - every bit the globetrotting counterpart to dinner. Elegant drinks, immaculate presentation.
Service was warm and friendly, the staff putting on a show of hospitality in French and English, welcoming and with excellent recommendations. The space is warmly lit and cosy.
On a cold January evening we joined the line about 10 minutes before doors open at 19:00, and just made the tail end of the first seating. No reservations here, so come early or be prepared to hang out. But don't let the line deter you, it's...

Prices comparable to a similarly located London Dim Sung restaurant I.e overpriced but expected.
Other than the cheese Bao buns, which were disappointing, all the dim sum were well filled. Items containing pork were heavy on this, masking some of the more delicate flavours. The scallops were incredibly well prepared, though one was filled with a prawn as opposed to a scallop which was a shame.
Whether it is down to the kitchen or service staff, it is difficult to know as we ordered a large number of items but the 'pastry' was a little slimy on a few dishes and all the Bao buns were very heavy, gooey and doughy rather than light and fluffy as I recall them being in other establishments.
Everyone was friendly and helpful, English is spoken excellently and my paltry excuse for French was tolerated and replied to in perfect English.
The hummus was excellent and different from anything I've tried before and the fish cakes were amazing. Hummus comes with prawn crackers so no need to order any more and you'll need to ask for soy and chilli sauce if they're up your street.

Read more3 stars – Great flavors, but not worth the price
The food here was undeniably delicious—every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. However, the portion sizes were extremely small, especially considering the high prices. We spent €120 for two people and left still hungry, which is disappointing.
The cocktails were mostly ice, with very little actual drink, and felt more like a garnish than a proper beverage. For example, the chicken dish had only 16 tiny pieces, and the calamari plate had about 20 very, very small rings. Everything tasted great, but the value just wasn’t there.
Sadly, we had to go find another place to eat afterward. I wouldn’t return, even though the food was excellent—simply because the portions and pricing...
