It started so well…… we waited while they opened a new space for us. We were first in but they put us near the door. We waited to place orders as they went to bigger tables but we joked with other people so it nice. The waiter went to the table next to us first but the lovely ladies said we were first. We ordered a bottle of wine a salad and 2 pizzas. We asked for all the food to come at once. We were very excited as it looked great. The Salad arrived and wine but nothing else. We tried to catch the waiters attention but he was too busy serving others. Everyone else got their pizzas by us. Another table got their pizzas but it looked like ours so they complained. Due to the error the waiter gave them an extra glass each. We decided to eat the salad but the pizzas never arrived. We called him over and he knelt down and lent right into my face and said sturnly what do you want. I thought he was joking so I laughed and said I wanted our pizzas. He stormed off. Still no food. The ladies on the table joked we should get a free bottle of wine rather than a glass each. In the end the food didn’t come so I went to the waiter. He told me to sit down. I joked does this mean we get a free bottle of wine. He laughed in my face and said you can have a glass. I pointed out they got someone else’s order wrong but ours never came so surely a bottle was fair. He then pushed passed me with a bottle of wine and started to pour wine into my glass that already had wine in it so contaminating the wine. I was shocked and said we were leaving and not paying.

The food arrived and he told me to go.

It was absolutely disgusting service and I’ve never been treated like that.

The ladies beside us told us there were much better restaurants. The other people in the restaurant agreed it was disgusting too as the waiter snatched the glass away and the food.

Never again. Be warned this restaurant or at least the main waiter...

Absolutely appalling experience! The place is popular and it was very chaotic. That, I get. But a server took a plate to the neighboring table which happened to be the same dish I ordered (I happened to notice the family while they were eating appetizers and drinking wine while waiting for my order). I watched as the plate was put down in front of one of the ladies and the lady take her knife and fork, which she had just used on her appetizers, and dig into the dish. A few seconds later, the owner (? Perhaps manager?) Came over and yanked the plate from the lady and said it was not hers. He then tried to place it in front of me! I told him I was not going to eat that. He insisted she did not put her fork in it and it was my order and I said I watched her put her fork and knife into it the dish.

There was some yelling back and forth between the original server who placed it front of the lady and the manager man and the dish was taken back across the the road ,presumably to the kitchen.

I do not believe for one second a fresh dish was made and should have got up and left when the manager tried to insist I eat the first plate. I am certain they threw the same food in a new bowl and brought it to me. I should have paid for my wine and left immediately.

So disappointing as this place was recommended by another tourist and I was looking forward to good food and good dessert and I got neither (I was not going to risk another incident by ordering dessert). The pasta, by the way,...

We stumbled on this place while looking for somewhere to eat - they were so accommodating for us with a 1 year old. They brought out a high chair, and all the staff came over at some point pulling faces at our daughter and enjoying making her smile. We had a pushchair with us and were obviously difficult to fit in with the busy street the tables were on, but the staff didn't complain and did all they could to make us feel welcome. Even though my request of an egg with the basic pasta for my daughter raised a few eyebrows (unusual, but she likes eggs and hadn't had one while on holiday!), they brought it out happily and gave us enough time between her dish and ours that we weren't struggling to feed her and us at the same time. I also noticed the place allowed dogs which is another bonus point coming from a dog owner, though ours...

BE AWARE OF BEING CONNED AT THIS RESTAURANT. We were impressed by the menu board outside the restaurant. See the picture. We were told by the gentlemen who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant that the suggestions of the day, Risitto with gambas, were his creation. We were promised a gastronomic experience. After a bit of thought we decided that we would eat there. We were not able to sit in the main restaurant but in the annex across the narrow alleyway. We ordered the Risotto and a rather expensive bottle of wine and were looking forward to food when the waiter came to us and said that due to some unfathomable problem the Risotto would not be available. To state the obvious we were extremely disappointed. We paid for the wine and walked out. Would we recommend this place, what do you think.

I ordered a Pizza Mortaza (€17.5) – Pesto de pistache, mozzarella fior di latte, mortadelle de Bologne A.O.P., burrata entière et éclats de pistache. While it looked appealing, it was one of the worst tasting pizzas I have ever eaten. I have never been one to leave pizza on my plate, but this was exceptionally bad. The dough had an overwhelmingly sour taste, and the toppings lacked quality – the overall flavour was reminiscent of something spoiled, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The service was below average and nothing exceptional. The atmosphere was just okay. I love pizza so much that I even eat it for breakfast, and having eaten pizzas in various places, I can definitively say this place served the worst.

We made a reservation and was so glad we did as it was exceptionally busy due to the Rugby World Cup. It opened at 7pm and were there prompt and had to wait for them to open and find us a table. We had bruschetta to share which was really lovely followed by a meat feast pizza for me and a calzone for my husband with a Peroni draught beer. It was really good food. The service was a little slow but to be expected as the food was cooked fresh and as I mentioned earlier it was very busy with people queuing for tables. A really nice restaurant and good food.
