Papa Jo — Restaurant in Bordeaux

I had the worst customer service experience ever. I ordered through the electronic board (like the ones available in Mc Donalds) in the restaurant a sandwich called P'tit BEN. The screen showed the ingredients and the picture showed with bread brown with olives. I ordered and waited to collect it. When received, the bread was plain white instead of brown with olives. I kindly asked to transfer the ingredients to brown with olives as ordered or change the sandwich. The cashier (who is most probably the owner) said I chose white, which I didn't, and she refused to adjust. I went close to the electronic board and kindly asked her to show me where are the options she is referring to. She came and found NOTHING! For sure she confused the electronic board in the restaurant with the online ordering through applications (like uber eats..) where the options were there (as I checked and confirmed later). She then touched my arm trying to kick me out while insulting and screaming on me. Another man (from her acquaintance tried the same). It was really horrible! Instead of recognising her mistake and apologizing, she harassed me physically. I travelled so many countries and experienced many restaurants but never ever been humiliated as such. I left with eyes watering. Shame on the client service behaviour. And shame on that man mistreating a woman. That's a bad picture displaying to tourists. All this happened between 1pm and 2pm on September 3rd. Important to mention the rest of the staff were courteous and the place was clean.

It was a bit crowded and cold I got a white chocolate crepe, it had too much butter that it was oozing out, or maybe it was the chocolate separating, but either way, not a great taste in my mouth my wife got a nutella crepe, the nutella didn’t taste like nutella, but rather a chocolate sauce, which is fine but not the exact taste we were expecting waiting time was really long, and for a basic crepe 4 euros was a bit overpriced...

Nous avons été malade après avoir mangé une gauffre de liège. Pâte farineuse, gauffre pas cuite, et au prix de 5euros!! Nous avons été déçu malgré la sympathie de la vendeuse.

N'ayant malheureusement pas la possibilité de répondre à l'équipe de papa jo, je vais donc rajouter mes dires ici.

Vous faites référence à la différence entre la gaufre de liège et de brussel mais à aucun moment je n'ai cité ces compartifs. En effet, nul besoin car ayant vécu à l'étranger et ayant eu une enfance où la gaufre faisait partie de mes goûters, liegoise et brusseloise(vive la belgique), je ne me vois en aucun cas faire une remarque sur le fait que la liégeoise ne me convenait pas.

Je précise encore que c'est la cuisson qui n'allait pas. Lorsque votre gaufre colle au carton et que vous êtes obligé de la déchiqueter pour vous rentre compte que la pâte n'est pas cuite, c'est un soucis de cuisson.liégeoise ou bruxelloise peu importe, on les aime cuite.

Concernant le prix, en effet, j'ai pris celle qui me tentait, mais à 3 ou à 5 euros, encore fois je voulais juste qu'elle soit cuite.

L'erreur est humaine et un manque de cuisson arrive à tout le monde.cependant nous en avons été malade.

Je vous souhaite néanmoins une belle continuation et que vous satifassiez d'autres clients.
