Having previously stayed here twice before whilst travelling in France, my family and I had booked to stay once more. Unfortunately our arrival at the hotel was delayed following problems on the Eurotunnel and we could not make the 8pm closure. We expected to be 30 minutes late and offered to pay the overtime for a member of staff. This offer was flatly refused by the owner and no alternative was offered despite further suggestions from us. All of this when we made it very clear that we had already travelled a long way with two very young children and needed accommodation to ensure safe onwards travel. The owner simply did not care. She did however happily charge us 100 euros for a room we were not able to even use! Thankfully, for the safety of my family we found accommodation elsewhere that night. I urge you all to...

We were greeted by a staff member who was more than welcoming showing us to our room, helping with luggage (we were on a 12 day tour of the country with two full suitcases), and suggested where to park for free after we returned from out champagne tasting in Epernay. ||The room was beautifully and boutique with private bathroom, open windows to view of the quiet street on which it sits. Nespresso machine (with extra pods) and premium tea are in the room with fresh towels. Such a delight and breakfasts included all for a very affordable rate.
