I was very excited to stay in the Auberge John Steele for a few nights, as I went to see the local sights and beaches relating to Normandy 1944.||||First of all, the location couldn't be better within St Mere Eglise, being 20 seconds from the church and town square.||||The rooms were simple and basic but clean and perfectly comfortable.||||The service was not particularly good I'm afraid. The restaurant projects such a welcoming atmosphere. During my last visit here, our party of four ended up in conversation with the other patrons of the restsurant and we ended up getting a group photo. I will be bringing my tour group here this coming October 2025 and we will be staying in the hotel itself, so check back for an update on...
