Pizzeria U Pranzu — Restaurant in Corte

Loved this local restaurant in the centre of town. The owner is very friendly, & food was delicious. The Tarte tatin was sublime and the view is definitely worth a stop - unfortunately when it rains, the outdoor deck is closed (so expect to be seated indoors with no view if it rained earlier/is raining when you visit).

I'd personally not order the chicken burger again (it was yummy, especially with the goats cheese but I was hoping for grilled chicken vs fried). Not a fault of the restaurant though - just my own preference!

Great service, super friendly and the food is more than delicious. Their homemade cookie which is also part of their American ice cream dessert is an explosion. We once had pizza which was great and came back the next day and had meat and gratin which were both perfect in taste and presentation. Besides the great food they have a terrasse with a breathtaking view of the old town of Corté like in a movie. If we come back to Corté we will have dinner here...

Best meal I had while visiting Corsica. We ordered the carbonara and steak with mushrooms and cream which was absolutely delicious! The meals are made fresh so come with time to spare and just sit back with some wine or cocktails & enjoy the view.
