No no no and a resounding no.
It started with the most sour faced maitre d - brunette Bob hair. She looks grumpy and oh so arrogant. As if the job was beneath her. She acted like she did not want to deal with anyone. Well she should be lucky that she has a job and customers to deal with. A lot of other servers and other restaurants don't get to deal with customers due to covid. Anyway she was consistently arrogant to all the customers. When it came to our turn she scanned our health pass then promptly turn around and walked off. Not even, a please come this way... when we reached our table she just stood there looking irritated and high and mighty. I guess she expected us to read her mind. Then she walked off without a word. Okay then.
Now the servers. Granted it was a busy lunch time, we didn't get a menu ten minutes after. And then another 15 minutes until we get to be served. It only happened after I called out for the server. The blonde server sounded very irritated that I had to call her, yes I'm coming madam, she said angrily. Well, that's a nice way to treat customers.
When the food arrived it was just the smallest portion. Bear in mind this is no gourmet restaurant. Anyway I would like to advise management to please train your staff to be hospitable to your Clientèle. We went to other restaurants in st tropez and monaco on this specific vacation and everytime the servers have been the most wonderful. Read moreHorrible service, mediocre food at best. Had to ask 4 times to get milk for my coffe(took 20 minutes). Waitress constantly forgetting our table. Tables packed so tight that our 9 party had one exit from the table to get some air/toilet(half the table needs to get up for one person to exit). While the band was playing a birthday song for one person in our table the waitress tough it is the best time to push trough the band, and start cleaning the table. Food complete disapointment - ravioli had so much lemmon it was uneatable. 40 euro past, was basic store bought pasto boiled and added some bacon cubes and few truffle slices(basically something you make at home in hurry when hungry minus the truffles). Second pasta was basic tomato souce max ammount of oli and a pice of crab(basically again something you make at home minus the max ammount of oli and crab). Sea bass was ok. 19 euro rum coctail was rum, 4 cubes of ice, some juice not even shaken(not eunogh if it was, no foam). Gin,ginger,elderflower mule was wery good. After our head of family paid the bill the waitress started counting the money on our table in front of everyone in the table(where I am from this is super disrepectfull), it is good she did not sit down at least.
