Highly recommended. This is a special place, and where I had my favorite meal in a week of non-stop eating in St Tropez. We had a mushroom tart to begin. Followed by a saffron+lemon risotto, and a delicious hoke fish topped with fresh herbs and in-season vegetables in a light savory broth. All three dishes were excellent. For wine, we followed the advice of the owner on a bottle of red which complimented our meal very well. For dessert, we had a passionfruit creme brulee which hit the spot. The food is memorable, delicious, and somehow very simple and approachable. Sometimes gastro cuisine can be stuffy and boring... not the case here. I found the staff to be attentive & knowledgeable. The ambience of the location is pure St Tropez - with a beautiful nearby church that catches the last light of day during sunset in the restaurant's narrow cobblestone-lined street. I was particularly impressed with the whole experience because the business had only been open for a few months when we arrived. Everything ran smoothly, as if it had been around for decades. Bravo!

We didn’t have reservations but were able to sit inside. It was a tiny indoor space and while cozy, unfortunately the seats we had were quite uncomfortable. The menu is presented on a chalkboard and while I was hoping for seafood for dinner given that we were in St. Tropez, there wasn’t much seafood on the menu. I don’t recall our appetizers but for main dishes, we had rolled, stuffed chicken and octopus. The chicken was delicious and both plates were beautifully presented. Our meals were tasty but we didn’t feel very welcome here. But that could have been due to the fact we were seated inside and everyone was hustling by us all night. I would recommend the restaurant because the food is good, but perhaps try to make a reservation to sit outside.

The food here was better than I could imagine lunch is a price fixed two item menu for $25 I was not sure of the food choices but bc it had such high ratings I decided to stay I had gazpacho as the appetizer and I have to say I don’t even like that soup but it was fantastic and memorable Then I had a fish I was afraid it would be bland and tasteless it was anything but that. It was full of flavor with fresh vegetables in a sauce omg delicious!!! I will remember that meal for a long time!! When I come back to St Tropez this will be on my list to return to!! Thank you to the chef who is so very talented!! Bravo!!

I chose this restaurant upon recommendation by my family who has visited it several times. We went there on Tuesday evening, July 29. First of all, I have to say that the food and the atmosphere were very good. However, I’m only giving 1 stars because the service was unfortunately deeply disappointing. I was there with my girlfriend on her birthday, and since we’re both quite young, this was a significant expense for me. We were the first guests there, arriving right when the place opened, and we were in no way unfriendly or inappropriate to the staff. We first ordered drinks and appetizers, which arrived reasonably quickly. But then, neither our plates nor our glasses were cleared for the next 1.5 hours, and we were not offered a wine list or asked if we wanted to order any food. I politely asked our original waiter twice for the wine list, but was ignored. I then asked a different waiter twice as well. The second one finally brought the wine list after another 30 minutes, without even looking at us. When I then ordered both our main course and the wine, he again barely acknowledged us. As soon as I mentioned the wine, he just said “okay,” without asking whether we wanted a bottle, a glass, or a large bottle. He then brought both the food and the wine silently, again without making eye contact. I emphasize this behavior because, for reasons I cannot understand, the neighboring tables received very friendly and attentive service. After we had finished eating and were still enjoying our wine, it took another 45 minutes before our plates were cleared. Once again, at every other table, glasses were refilled when empty—something that did not happen at our table. I also had to fetch the ashtray myself after asking for it twice. Eventually, dessert was offered to us—surprisingly—but instead of explaining it like at other tables, the waiter just slammed the menu sign down on the table. Throughout our visit, the table next to us turned over twice with groups of four or more people. Our total stay lasted almost four hours, which is absolutely unacceptable. Both servers were young guys, and even when we politely said goodbye despite all the rudeness, neither of them said a single word to us. I have to say, I’ve never experienced such bad service. It honestly felt like the waiters had decided from the start that they didn’t like us. I couldn’t understand their behavior, especially since my girlfriend—who, as mentioned, was celebrating her birthday—is such a cheerful and positive person. The final straw was that I was overcharged. At that point, I was so fed up that I didn’t even want to complain—I just wanted to leave, which is really unfortunate. The food was good, but the staff were incredibly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, which at this price level is simply unacceptable. I truly regret choosing this place for her birthday. Very, very...

What a horrible experience! We basically ate in a place hot as sauna, while being treated super rude, and the food was not good also. We were seated inside, and even though it was late and outside has cooled down, inside it was hot as sauna, not only they don't have an AC the heat from the kitchen makes it worse. Then the service was unbelievably rude. We were very polite however a person who was serving us, kept saying that we have to smile! And assumed we were russian, even though my friend was ukranian. Then we had to wait for the menu and wait for another one and wait to make the order even though we were ready straight away but we were being ignored and passed by, they didn't even look at us. Then they would finally come to talk to us, only to interrupt in the middle and leave to serve other customers or shout across the restaurant! I asked several times for meat and the server kept pushing me for fish! Then every time he would come from the kitchen with a new platter he would put it in my face! Do you think it's normal?? I tried to speak french as I live here and I am learning you know and the rude server shut me up and started laughing saying I don't speak French. Wow! If it wasn't 22.00 I would have left, but we didn't want to miss dinner as everywhere was full, so we stayed hoping for good food. Another dissapointment: they served my Daube Provencale on top of boiled pasta! Again it's first time in one year in France I'm being served pasta when I didn't order pasta, without any sauce, just as a side dish, it...

I made a reservation here a month before my trip to St. Tropez. They confirmed it this very afternoon Sunday June 29 at 7:30pm. It was my wife and my first night in St Tropez. We got to the restaurant and it was completely closed. We called and they didn’t even offer an apology, much less any free meal or even another reservation. There was another couple standing there having the identical issue. Looking at the website now on Sunday, June 29, it says it is open. If this restaurant is willing to use the Internet to increase its bookings, it needs to take responsibility for errors of this kind. We flew here from Colorado today. Looking forward to this all year. Yes I know we can go somewhere else. We have been to St. Tropez, probably 10 prior times. But the way this occurred, the fact they asked us to confirm at 3 PM today, and then when we telephoned Standing outside the restaurant for our 730 reservation, they didn’t even say they were sorry was extremely rude, unprofessional, and taking all of our business for granted. This is truly unacceptable....
