FOOD ALLERGY WARNING. Do not eat here if you have a food allergy, these guys have no idea what is in their food. My son has a peanut allergy and they assured us there were no peanuts in their dish — pork with satay sauce Really? No peanut in satay?. Because they assured us, I assumed it was something they created and called it satay (Saté on the menu). After my son started to swell, we went to the kitchen and asked if there was peanut in the dish, again we were assured no, no peanuts, also no peanut oil. There was no language barrier, my husband is a francophone. They seemed to show no concern when we asked for ice to help control the swelling. A surprise find! Food was fantastic. Was at first worried seeing some negative reviews but we are glad we stuck to our instincts! We had an absolutely enjoyable delicious dinner.

Escargots yummy! And loved the fried Camerbet cheese. Duck breast was superb as well as the Beef Cheek and Lamb Shank! Highly recommended. We avoided the steak since there was an earlier negative comment by another diner.

Many french locals dining there - proof of its worth. Would go back again but we are only at Fontainbleau for 1 night.

Service was excellent and friendly plus there was an English menu and English speaking staff. Reasonable and fair pricing. Meal for 3 cost us about 80 Eur, superb value for the quality, taste and quantity. Started to get really packed around...

The food was quite good, but our waiter was very impolite. He had no manners and gave sour faces to our requests. We also didn’t get all the drinks we had ordered, although we asked for them more than once. Still they were charged (we noticed this after paying) and when we mentioned this the waiter didn’t even say sorry and brought the wrongly charged money back as very small coins, and after leaving we noticed some money was still missing. On the other hand, the waitress who brought most of our food was very nice, and she was the only one who brought us water (after asking also for this from the sour waiter and never getting it), so I want...
