Il Primo Bacio — Restaurant in Fontainebleau

Very very good food. I had the most delicious pasta Carbonara ever and even went to the restaurant for a second time because it was so delicious. BUT the people who work there are everything but costumer friendly.

In the first place there is this woman, that I think is like the head of the crew, and she wears glasses and has blond hair and she is just rude. She barely pays attention to you and always seems in a hurry. I get it because it was very busy at the terrace, but you can just answer us normal. And by normal I mean just listening and making eye contact. Second they seem to have a very tight schedule. If you come 2 minutes earlier to the restaurant than it actually opens, they will laugh at you and tell you to wait for these 2 little minutes. You aren't even allowed to sit on the place you reserved earlier.

So everything together the restaurant is fine, but that's just because there food is amazing. The service is just horrible. I don't know if they are just rude to foreign people, but even if so, this deffanatly shows an other side of the working...

We came back! But something changed. After eating escalope... that was too salty, too much, literally, and probably pre-cooked. I realised that we will never go back to eat here. Service was ok. But too many clients do not allow the waiters to pay any attention to people. Just to sit you and ask for an order. Ice-cream...you see the pictures. But then you realise that they just serve you what is available everywhere and anywhere. Special note and the hygiene... to wash my hands, I had to go upstairs. And this is where all the devastating dirt and smells and Ice-cream and other plates with desserts a were on a cart - fridge??? Directly in a corridor to toilet... Sad. Very very sad...

The Lunch I had here the other day was really good and recommended. Where it goes Wrong is the attitude of this short Italian owner who refused to seat us a Monday evening just before 10. I mentioned we (wife and I) would like desert and a coffee and was declined a seat with "sorry sir this is a restaurant". My point exactly! The last desert I had here was mind blowing. Our "why we couldn't have desert here" conversation lasted enough time to realise that my money is not good enough. 1 star is for rude and unhelpful service coming from the owner himself, thanks a bunch!
