Raj Mahal is a true gem in Fontainebleau for lovers of authentic Indian cuisine. I had the Poulet Biryani, Lentilles Curry, and ended the meal with a beautifully brewed Masala Tea — every dish was bursting with flavor.

The biryani was perfectly spiced with tender, aromatic chicken and fragrant basmati rice that hit all the right notes. The lentil curry was comforting and rich, with just the right kick of heat that warmed me up from the inside. And the masala tea? Silky smooth, fragrant, and the perfect way to round off the meal.

Bad service. We were a group of 3 ladies and 4 kids. The owner probably thought we would disturb the other customers and so was unwilling but seated us anyway. The other person who took the order was very rude and told us that the food would not be enough and made us order more than we thought we would need.. after we ordered he said’ order more this is not enough’ as expected, a lot of food was left. When the stroller or the zippy was in the way, were rudely asked to move it away. Food was just about. Very rude people with a sense of doing us a favor...

Food was a really mixed bag - chicken Madras was excellent although the portion was a bit small for the price. Biryani rice was not well done at all. The cheese naan had spreadable "laughing cow" cheese inside it which is kind of disgusting. Palak paneer and other dishes were varying degrees of authenticity and acceptability

Service was rude, which I don't usually care about if the food is good, but in this case was not really forgiveable.
