Cave Croisette — Restaurant in Grasse

Came here following the great reviews. To make the long story short, the 3 is for the service.and level of execution. I do believe that they have potential and therefore it's not a 2. It all started well and I had a very nice cheese platter for an appetizer, along with a nice baguette. I had a burger for main. The waiter asked how would I like it to be cooked.and I replied Medium. When it arrived, wrapped in a cloche and with okey sea weed, I had my expectations high. However, it was way well done, which I have noted to the waiter, who didn't apologize but offered to bring another one right away. The second one came, with another portion of fries, which was awesome, but then again, it is well done. This time,.they didn't bother to.bring the cloxhe and the sea weed though. I noted that to the waiter who.told.me.he will tell the chef. No offers this time. He came back after 5 minutes, asking if I was done seeing that I had taken only two bites. I had asked for the check and surprisingly, the burger was fully charged, 23.5 euros! I asked the waiter why should I pay for something that poorly executed, and he said "I offered you a glass of wine",.referring to the 6 euro glass removed...

This wine bar is a real treat! The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Bonsoir, Nous sommes passés devant par hasard et avons décidé d’y réserver une table. Et bien quelle belle surprise !! Un service impeccable avec une serveuse adorable sommelière depuis 17 ans et qui connaît son métier par cœur. Nous avons goûté des vins qui allaient parfaitement avec les mets que nous avions commandés. Les huîtres chaudes ont étés divines et une surprise pour notre palet. Le camembert chaud à la truffe était un peu trop fort et couvrez le goût de la truffe mais fut tout de même une belle surprise. Le gravlax de saumon et le foie gras ont accompagné merveilleusement bien la suite de notre dîner. La fin fut le happy end avec le baba au rhum Diplomatico.
