Generally the hotel is ok and has it's own car park, Cannes is small so you can walk everywhere. First night we mentioned to the hotel that the bathroom sink was emptying very very slowly, they said they would arrange to fix it. Second day the shower put a lot of water in the room, two reasons, the drain hole very as slow same as sink, second reason, the shower door has a silicone bottom edge which is supposed to stop the water, this is old and does not fit correctly. Again we mantioned to the hotel and they said they would fix. Last morning the sink was even worse, mentioned agin and a young woman who seemed to be so some kind of manager told me in what I would desc rive as a brusque the sink was fine as it had been checked the day before. I am not sure where the training manual says when a guest mentions a problem tell them they are wrong and there is no problem. I attach a photo of the no problem basin. The rest of the staff , check in and check out...
Read moreBeautiful little hotel over all! The room was over looking the street and had great lighting, and although a little tight for two (the shower specifically being very small), we hadn’t planned to spend much time in the room anyways. They had a lovely breakfast assortment (at a small charge) which included mini croissants, cold cut meats, hot sausage’s, bread bar, fresh fruit, etc. that you can eat inside, or out on the back patio with a nice sized courtyard that was perfect for computer work. All staff were friendly and helpful, for the most part there was almost always someone in the lobby, even when arriving at two am. The location itself is perfect for accessibility and we were easily able to get there from the train, as well as there are nearby markets, restaurants and store fronts. The beach is a five minute walk and for us, this was also walking distance to the film festival. Highly...
Read moreVery friendly and very well located offering excellent value. The receptionist was so friendly and made us feel welcome. I'd booked early and the price was good. One room had breakfast included, we didn't realise but others has praised the breakfast. Considering it's location, it still had a nice garden and pool which my teenage kids enjoyed, and were they only ones there so very pleasant. Parking was €20 but that is still cheaper than 24 hours in the multi storey and you go in the lift straight from the floor of your room. You walk out and straight onto the main shopping street. All staff friendly and room nice, my wife like the pillows. The 'Superior' room worth the little bit extra. We had 3 rooms and though there as a tourist, we have previously lived in Cannes for 10 years and recommend this location rather than the similar priced hotels on Blvd Carnot. I would definitely...
