Cloud 9 — Restaurant in Grasse

Cloud 9 is a scam begging to overcharge for service. Bought 6 drinks at 22 euro each but when the "bill" came we were asked to pay 250 euro. We asked why it was that much and was told it was the 30% tip. It still didn't add up so we asked to get the actual bill that showed we owed 132 euro but were told to pay at least 15% tip so ended up paying 152 euro for 6 basic drinks. We regret coming here and cannot recommend anyone. You wouldn't expect this kind of scamming behavior from a supposedly high end place, you would think you were in a low end bar in Bangkok. At least they could have served some...

ALWAYS ASK TO SEE THE BILL !!! Service was aweful: even when overstaffed the waiters never look up, you have to wait ages to get any type of service. We ordered 1-2 drinks per person at approx 20€ each. The waitress told us we needed to pay 48€ and decided herself to round up to 50€ and add a 20% tip without asking. I asked to see for the bill and saw that it was actually 38€ pp. So when I went to tell the head waitress she didn’t seem to care or take any responsibility. Thank god they payed us back the difference...

We had a lot of expectation from the place.. ibeen to the same chain Miami before !! the food that was served, was ice cold! The service was super pathetic. I guess it is unfortunately understaffed for saturday night. Drinks took time like for ever .. when reached out to the bar they refused to serve and asked to wait for the server to come to the table ! Am not sure if I would visit the place again !
