During the Cannes Film Festival, we had an extremely disappointing and disrespectful experience at Le Baoli. Despite receiving an email confirming that no reservation was needed, we three young, well-dressed and beautiful women from Germany with Turkish descent were turned away at the door. Meanwhile, others without reservations were allowed in. The atmosphere outside was lackluster and the unpleasant smell of mold and rotten eggs lingering outside the club didn’t help. Since we weren’t impressed with the club from the beginning, we didn’t go in right away. Actually, the bad vibes we already had outside were completely sufficient and should have deterred us from entering the club. Later, we decided to give the club a chance, which we shouldn’t have done. As we hesitated to enter, we noticed that the guests entering the club appeared cheap. We’re accustomed to places with class and this was far from it. Le Baoli's location in a quiet area, away from the vibrant scene of Cannes, further contributed to our disappointment. Furthermore, the atmosphere of the club was very dull, boring and uninspiring, from what we gathered from outside. To make matters worse, after being turned away by the bouncers, we were also harassed by male guests outside. The bouncers could clearly witness the incident unfolding right in front of the club, yet they callously chose not to act. Furthermore, we saw how the bouncers were additionally making fun of us and saying offensive things. We are utterly traumatized by this harrowing experience. What’s more, I had previously been assured by Sofia from the Service Réservation du Bâoli Cannes that the bar and club areas were accessible without a reservation. We were even invited to the Cannes Film Festival, which made the rejection all the more shocking. The bouncers were incredibly disrespectful and racist. Their only explanation was a curt 'reservation only.' After that, they completely ignored us, as if we were talking to a wall. To our astonishment, other guests next to us were not even asked for a reservation and were simply allowed inside, despite the fact that they didn't even have reservations, because they mentioned it. Additionally, they were wearing flat sandals and cheap outfits that looked like they came from a budget store and clearly didn't adhere to the dress code. Nevertheless, they were allowed entry simply because they were all white. Meanwhile, we were in our best attire; I wore a sparkling Chanel mini dress and glittery high heels, yet we were still treated disrespectfully. It was evident that our rejection was due to our non-white background. It was a traumatic experience, one we had never encountered before. I must emphasize that we remained polite and respectful throughout the entire incident. As a model, I am determined to boycott Le Baoli and I will use my connections in the film industry to spread the word. They should know not to mess with us. Although we were ready to spend thousands of euros for my sister’s birthday celebration, we’re relieved we didn’t. I also want to point out that after this incident, I checked the Google reviews of Le Baoli and found many similar reports of disrespectful and racist behavior. It seems that our experience was not an isolated incident. Furthermore, I have the impression that the management of Le Baoli tolerates such behavior, as I recall that most of the bouncers there were not even white themselves. It is therefore likely that they have received instructions accordingly. If you value respect and decency, I strongly recommend avoiding Le Baoli. Our experience serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering a visit. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior in my life. I am deeply traumatized by...

I have been to this club multiple times, however the last one was unaccaptable.
Me and my group went to celebrate a special occasion, was profoundly disappointed and marred by unacceptable behavior from the staff. Despite booking a table through a private concierge and spending a substantial amount of money, the overall experience failed to meet even the most basic expectations of hospitality and customer service.
Firstly, while the service inside the club was satisfactory, the conduct of the bouncers was intolerable. Their rudeness was apparent from the moment we arrived. One particularly egregious incident involved a bouncer deliberately stepping on my foot, an act that can only be described as intentional and malicious. They had also theatened multiple members of our group with physical consequences. We were drunk, and perhaps not the most polite at times given their tone of communcation, but this shall not be treated in this way at a club of this level. This level of unprofessionalism is inexcusable and severely undermines the reputation of the club.
The rudeness of the bouncers created an unwelcoming and hostile atmosphere and afterstase in all of our minds. Customers, especially those who have made reservations and are willing to spend generously, deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy.
Given the recommendation we reveived and the club's reputation, one would expect a seamless and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the negative interactions with the bouncers greatly detracted from our night out. I urge Club Baoli's management to address these issues promptly. Staff training in basic manners and customer service is essential to prevent future patrons from experiencing similar mistreatment.
In conclusion, while the internal service at Club Baoli was passable, the unacceptable behavior of the bouncers ruined what could have been a memorable evening. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot in good conscience recommend Club Baoli to anyone seeking a pleasant and respectful night out.
My concierge has been provided with proof and pictures about the bouncers involved, they assured me they will stop recommending club baoli untill...
Read moreOur evening was utterly ruined by the appalling and degrading behavior of the security staff. As we, a group of impeccably dressed beautiful women (all people of color), tried to enter the club, we were unjustifiably denied entry by cheap bouncers whose annual salary is less than what I earn in half a month. We were blatantly told we didn’t have a reservation, while white people behind us, who clearly had no reservation and were dressed far more casually, were let in without issue.
The blatant discrimination was shocking. When we confronted the bouncer about his outrageous behavior, we were laughed at, mocked and treated with utter disrespect. One bouncer had the audacity to condescendingly ask if we even had enough money to spend at the club. Additionally, one of the bouncers asked me if he could take me from behind and then reconsidered whether to let us in - it was simply disgusting.
This behavior is completely unacceptable and offensive. This establishment should be avoided at all costs. The management seems to support such disgraceful practices, which is absolutely unacceptable in this day and age. Our celebrations were completely ruined and we will certainly warn everyone to stay away from this place. Do not go to Le Baoli if you don’t want to be humiliated and discriminated against. This place deserves no business at all.
Furthermore, it's important to note that this incident occurred on May 18, 2024 and pertains to the behavior of the bouncers on that day. I am fully aware that the management will likely do nothing about it, as I've seen enough to know what I need to. It's just disgusting. The predominantly non-white bouncers there are just doing the dirty work for the white ones. These bouncers have no pride, they're not staying true to themselves. They're acting like traitors to their own people, playing the fool for a paycheck. They're nothing but sorry suckers, they don't even know who they are. These pathetic bouncers have no clue and make fools of themselves there. I can't help but pity them, laughing at how...
