Good Mate Coffee — Restaurant in Grasse

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let y’all know that there is fantastic new coffeeshop which opened in Antibes a few weeks ago. They serve excellent American coffees such as Latte, Mocha, Cappuccino, etc.

I had stopped drinking coffee as I could not find anywhere were they’d serve decent American coffee. This place is called “ GOOD MATE COFFEE ”, and they serve coffee excellent. I have travelled all over Europe and could not find better. The beens are a luscious blend which makes their coffees to die for. I’m overjoyed since I found this place and wanted to share it with you all. I have no ties to the owner however, I thank him sincerely for picking Antibes to work his magic. We needed an expert Barista in Antibes 👏

We visited Good Mate Coffee with high expectations as a group of four, including two kids. The staff member who took our order was very friendly, which we appreciated.

However, the experience at the pickup counter was less pleasant. When I asked, “Sorry, can I get a tissue?” the staff member replied “Please” in a cold tone. I didn’t realize what she meant at first, so I asked again politely. Later, when I understood, I felt very uncomfortable. In addition, she started cleaning the counter and sprayed cleaning liquid very close to my friend’s straw while she was picking up her drink.

By far the best coffee in Antibes. This place opened about a month ago and I can attest to the fact that you won't find better coffee in Antibes. The owner is a professional Barista and a perfectionist. The place is tastefully decorated and has a cozy feel to it. Since he opened, I have not gone a day without getting a coffee from him. The beans are a blend between South American and African coffee beans which makes the coffee creamy and delicious.
