La Bodega — Restaurant in Grasse

Didn’t meet expectation We were met with a smile, but the waitress taking our order was not present, did not write anything down and waved hello to people on the street while my company was ordering. The first food arrived before the drinks, after which we had the waitress come up to us who looked completely baffled when we asked for our food. We proceeded to wait for 45 minutes to an hour for the second serving of food to arrive, all for one of the meals to be served completely cold. The arrogant waitress came and asked how the food was, and when the cold food was mentioned, there was not even an apology, her reaction was simply to say “okay”. Looking at the staff, it looked like a one man army with the short man doing most of the service. After asking for the bill twice, getting the cold plate of food removed from the bill, paying, and leaving, we were met with angry glances from the female worker. This restaurant is definitely not to recommend, at least not for foreigners unlike the local guides who seem to love this place. It is also to note that you can expect to pay at least 35 euros per person, and that would be without starters or dessert. Worst costumer service ever!!! When I received my order of pizza with mushrooms and olives, I realized the pizza wasn’t cut. I then asked for the pizza to be cut, but before insisting I was told by the manager/supervisor that I had my own fork and knife that I could use to cut it myself. I found his comment to be a little rude as it is part of their service to provide for the costumer. Once trying my pizza I was very unhappy with the outcome as there was way too much cheese to the point where you could barley even see the toppings. I kindly asked the manager if it was possible to exchange it to a pizza with less cheese. He was very rude about the issue and argued back. He said very disrespectful comments that I did not appreciate at all and found that the whole situation was dealt in an unprofessional manner. Instead of reasoning with us he went on to say that we should just deal with it. After a long dispute, he finally changed our pizza and said that that’s the last he’s gonna do for us.

To top it off, most of the waiters were very unresponsive. Definitely not gonna eat at this restaurant again as not only the costumer service was bad but the food was...

Je connaissais la Bodega des années 90 qui étais excellent avec une carte variée et des pizza dont les recettes était top avec des saveur typique du sud.. j'ai voulu tester la version 2025 avec le changement de propriétaire. Nous avions pris 1 pizza à la truffe (26€) et une lasagne (21€) avec deux CANETTES de soda à 5€ l'unité svp.. ça par contre je ne suis pas fan du concept des canettes à 5€ quand tu pense être servis avec des bouteilles,surtout dans un bel environnement comme ce restaurant..

La pizza était très bonne et la pâte se démarque elle a une bonne saveur particulière, je recommande les pizzas pour ce resto même s'il mettent 2h à la préparer et la cuire l'attente étais longue donc allez y quand vous avez le temps, mon fils a eu le temps de finir son repas quand nous avions été servis ( je vous rassure tout ceux qui ont commandé des pizzas étais impatient de les manger aussi..) J'ai pris une lasagne qui ma foi étais vraiment bonne, très cheesy servis avec une petite salade j'ai appréciée (un peux cher la lasagne à 21€ mais bon elle étais bonne hein)

J'ai beaucoup moins appréciée le service qui laissais à désirer, malgré la sympathie du personnel, on nous à jamais proposer de dessert ou de café à la fin du repas, même pour l'addition on à du payer au comptoir quand les autres en terrasse était servis comme des rois (oui nous étions en salle donc proche du personnel et même de la caisse donc on étais + que visible..) le fait que le personnel ne sache pas gérer son équipe en terrasse (on les entendais se prendre la tête entre eux car manque de gestion), et pour finir on as demander de la mayonnaise on à eue du ECO + (marque hard discount de Leclerc qui d'ailleurs n'etais pas terrible..) pour des plats qui sont quand même onéreux (jai vue un plat de simple pâtes à la sauce tomate à 16€ svp..) soit on cache que c'est du ECO + soit on le sert dans un récipient de sorte à ce qu'on ne le voit pas parce que on se fou de nous à ce stade..

Bref je ne sais pas si j'y retournerais parce que les plats étaient bons et le personnel sympa malgré qu'on nous as pas trop calculer.. peux être après le rush de l'été ils seront plus réceptif... Ça...
