Su-Rice — Restaurant in Grasse

We thought we would try Su Rice after reading great reviews and it did not dissapoint and exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is small and intimate. The service from the minute we walked in was very personable. The waiter explained the menu in detail and catered to our dietary requirements and chilli level for my child, mild. The food was absolutely delicious they have authentic flavoursome thai food, best thai food we have had during our 2 month holiday. Hospitality is fantastic compared to other restaurants who look at me like I am an Alien when I tell them that I am looking for Gluten free food and tell me they have nothing gluten free and are so rude. The staff at Su Rice are so friendly and make you feel comfortable. The food is so good, the gluten free panko chicken was to die for. My son had chicken red curry and they made it mild for him and he said it was the best he has had. We also had the pad thai noodles which were so fresh and tasty. I highly recommend Su Rice, its not much to look at but the flavours are mouthwatering. We will return. Fantastic value for money. From food to atmosphere it was a 10/10 all around. All of the food was unbelievable - so fresh and amazing flavors together. Also a great range of dishes on the menu to choose from too. I’m not kidding, one of the best salads I’ve ever had in my life. I was with my fiancee. There was an issue with the catalog and our understanding of what each sushi was. The owner / service guy was lacking the patience to explain and quickly starting to become a bit irritated / sarcastic. My fiancee said "let's leave" and he answered "yes leave I don't want you here". Not that professional, even in a dispute we should both keep some manners, especially the service.
