We are on our vacation, and decided to have lunch here with our Family from France. The hostess was very attentive and very sweet. The busboy was great too, friendly and even helped us when our waiter had not come to ask if we needed anything the entire time after he took our order. The waiter was not great, a bit rude and when we tried to call him and another waitress he was constantly talking to, they both looked at us and never came around. The food was good, but we paid 32 Euros for a piece of beef that was drenched in a sauce. When you are paying this amount of money for a steak you want to taste the beef not a sauce. Maybe the sauce should be placed on the side, we thought that is how it would be served. We also tried to go to the bathroom and the rude waitress said no and we told her we’re eating there and with a nasty attitude she said I don’t know what you are saying. We heard her speaking English to someone else. She was the rude waitress with our rude waiter. Overall we were dissatisfied with the service. The servers should have a better attitude towards tourists. I never leave any reviews, but I felt disrespected by the servers and has to write a review to warn about...
Read moreFood was great. I had a Salade Caprese. The name is misleading since it‘s not with Mozzarella and Tomatoes but with Goat Cheese and nuts. It was delicious, though. It‘s not the quality of the food that earned a two-star-rating it is the service. The waiters are rude and obviously unhappy to work there. First I thought it‘s just the classical French understanding of service but it led up to the worst service experience I‘ve ever had in a restaurant. One waiter said in french after finishing his shift. Je me casse! Which means pretty much that he is happy to get out of there. For paying my bill I stood five minutes in the queue with other guests to wait for my waitress. When she finally arrived she asks me to wait and let the people that came after me into the queue pay first. Finally, I achieved to give her my credit card. She says some rude sentences in French and holds the credit card reader out of the restaurant like an angry ET. She threw the device in the corner complaining about it. Than she hands over the ticket to me and I am as happy as I can be to finally leave that place. Never again! Tourist...

What’s not to love when “in heaven” referring to that famous say “in heaven, mechanics…, the police…, the lovers… and the chefs are French”, that’s exactly how I felt this morning having breakfast here at Amelia Canta❤️
At 10am ish arrived and chose a table in the shade, the waiter came immediately and I ordered my cappuccino which came quickly foamy and rather strong just the way I love!
Later chose “Le complet” under Le petit dejeuner section Le croissant- the proper French one warm so delicious crunchy The hot chocolate again foamy and special The jus d’orange natural and fresh But the jambon frontage omelette-oohlala melting in your mouth the French way
Just a simple breakfast experience reflecting the entire feel of experiencing South of france hospitality 😍❤️🤩 totally recommend- and use the experience to train your French! Bon jour! Mercy beaucoup Amelia Canta! Au revoir! Je...
