My family and I went today for lunch, we're two adults and 2 children aged 10 & 11. What a wonderful place we stumbled across, would highly recommend this restaurant over the other tourist traps you see in the square. We all had the set menu for €20 - 3 courses. My 10yo said the smoked salmon starter was delicious - my husband said, best smoked salmon he has eaten in a very long time. For mains we had plate of the day - pasta, fish of the day, beef and duck - every dish was amazing and so beautifully cooked. Dessert was also mouth watering and we did fight over the last mouthful 🤣 We had a small bottle of white wine, which was delicate and exactly what we were after. The service was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Wish we could go back tomorrow. Thank you for a wonderful meal in...

"I had made a reservation for our group at La Côte Braisée, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a terribly disappointing experience. Despite having a confirmed reservation, the staff at the restaurant consistently denied having a table for us. This inconsistency and the rudeness of the staff were both frustrating and unprofessional.

We made multiple attempts to clarify the situation, even with the concierge's involvement, but each time we were met with the same unhelpful response. It was a deeply frustrating and unpleasant experience that left us feeling unwelcome.

I would strongly advise against dining at La Côte Braisée based on this unfortunate encounter. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service marred what should have been an enjoyable dining experience in...

We had dinner here on August 17th. We ordered “Canard magret” and “Canard confit”. To be honest, canard magret was quite fine, the duck tasted good but the sauce was tasteless. “Canard confit” was a disappointment, no sauce accompanied, the meat was too dry. I would rate 3/5 for the food. What made me rate 1* was the waitress! After the payment (10% higher then the price printed with TVA) my boyfriend went to the toilet and I was waiting for him at the table, the waitress came and asked me to leave so she could clean the table and welcome the next client! Unprofessional and impolite! What a bad experience...

A change from all the expensive restaurants in St Emillion! Simple meals without the hefty price tag, you can get a 3 course meal for €19.50 and the food is good. Lovely wait staff and a small balcony. Can dine inside or out. Fully air-conditioned, dog and children friendly except to reach entrance is a walk down a sloped cobble stone path. There is also a huge selection of wine!

Highly recommended to drop by to this restaurant whenever you’re in St Emilion. Serves quite a good French dishes. I had the set menu which I ordered smoked salmon as appetiser, cod fish for main and panacotta as dessert. Price is so reasonable at about 19€. The service is also good and attentive. One of the staffs speaks good English which enhance our dining experience.

What a pleasure to come this restaurant. Stuff is sooo friendly and ready to help. As for the menu it offers generous traditional local food, such as duck, fois gras, cheese, varios salads, deserts, wines. And it is also facing the most beatiful medieval street of Saint Emilion!
