A Culinary Sojourn to Remember: Café Saigon's Evening Delights

Embarking on a delectable journey at Café Saigon, I found myself transported from the charming streets of France to the vibrant culinary landscape of Vietnam. Amidst the enchanting fusion of flavors, a symphony of dishes unfolded, each bearing testimony to the exceptional artistry of this establishment.

The evening commenced with a flourish as the spring rolls graced our table, delivering an impressive prelude to the gastronomic wonders that lay ahead. With every bite, the crispy exterior revealed a melange of textures and vibrant flavors that danced harmoniously on the palate. This delightful inception set a tone of anticipation for the culinary voyage that awaited us.

For the main course, the pork and rice dish emerged as the pièce de résistance of the evening. A harmonious medley of succulent pork, fragrant rice, and an array of fresh salad and pickled vegetables was a testament to the kitchen's meticulous craftsmanship. The marriage of flavors, perfectly balanced and exquisitely presented, took the dining experience to a level that was truly beyond the ordinary.

I must commend Café Saigon for its exceptional consideration of dietary needs. Catering to my gluten-intolerant girlfriend, they orchestrated a dining experience that resonated with care and attention. This gesture seamlessly integrated with the exemplary service that defined our evening. The staff's politeness and warmth added an extra layer of comfort to the dining experience, enhancing our connection to the cuisine and the ambiance.

As a lover of French cuisine, I have savored the finest offerings that this culinary haven has to offer. Yet, stepping into Café Saigon offered a welcome respite, a delightful departure from the familiar. Amidst the enchantment of France, the infusion of Vietnamese flavors was a revelation that highlighted the global tapestry of culinary art.

In summation, Café Saigon emerges as a culinary gem that transcends borders, delivering a symphony of flavors that resonate with excellence. From the impeccable spring rolls to the standout pork and rice creation, each dish was a testament to the masterful hands orchestrating the kitchen. The thoughtful accommodation of dietary needs and the gracious service provided a comprehensive dining experience that will remain etched in memory. Café Saigon not only adds a vibrant touch to the French culinary scene but also celebrates the richness of global flavors, inviting patrons to embark on a journey of taste...

Seriously one of my favorite meals in all of France. Flavors are bursting in a balance of umami and savory and acidity. Literally a mom and pop hole in the wall run by a very nice Vietnamese family with Vietnamese ladies making the best authentic food. Makes me want to go to Vietnam. Not a pho place at all. Very special casual food but seriously so delicious and a really nice break from heavy french food everywhere. Ingredients are so fresh that the family has to get from farmers markets to find specific authentic aromatics. Amazing and I dream about coming back here! Unlike any Vietnamese dining experience I've ever had and I went to school in San Jose CA and my room mate was from Vietnam back in my college days. I don't know where I can ever eat food like that again except in Vietnam and they are always changing the menu so always...

What an unforgettable experience at Cafe Saigon! From the moment we stepped in we were met with a warm, inviting ambiance. The owner, who is not only super friendly but clearly passionate about both the food and customer experience, made us feel right at home.

We tried almost everything on the menu between the two of us, and each dish was a delightful revelation of flavors, showcasing the vibrant essence of Vietnamese cuisine. The freshness and creativity in each plate were evident, making every bite a memorable experience. Best of all, the menu changes daily, offering a fresh twist each time you visit. We’ll definitely be back, many times, to savor whatever new delights await us!

Highly recommend Cafe Saigon for anyone looking for an authentic, friendly, and delicious...

Great food, its too full (ON A MONDAY NOON) and I didn’t make a Reservation. Its not even peak season. Had a good chat with the Chef and an OMAKASE treatment instead!!! Great Pork Soup with thick , flavourful and sweet soup paired with Pork Wonton & Shrimp Tempura with special Vietnam chilli dip… Soup is plainly flavourful and I only manage to left it with the only ingredients we can’t eat (its star anise by the way) French Chef making Vietnamese dish fused with local French Flavour is just FANTASTIC!!! Food took a while and worth the wait cause the Chef INSIST to cook each dishes to perfection…

The restaurant was one of two non-French restaurants open for the winter. The menu has two items per course. The starters were delicious (prawn salad and pork filled fried wontons) but I found the pho bo (beef pho) to be very salty. The soup was quite thick, unlike how it’s traditionally made. The kitchen is downstairs while the main dining area is upstairs. The waitress was very friendly although service was a little slow when the restaurant filled up. Good option if you fancy a break from the usual French fare available elsewhere.

I have to give top review on this one. Been around a number of Vietnamese across Europe but this one top the chart with its noodle and pork dish, very well made and best I had so far! The viet spring roll (or fried ravioli as they call it in the menu) is a must try, it burst with fragrance of fresh herbs wrapped in a crispy skin. Family business, mom is the chef and son takes the order, very organized and fast. And a great place to take sanctuary from the summer heat!
