Le Gange — Restaurant in Lille

This is, without a doubt, my favorite Indian restaurant in Lille. The staff are very kind and helpful, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.

On our first visit, we ordered seekh kebab as a starter and lamb biryani and shahi korma for the main courses. The portions were generous, and I absolutely loved the seekh kebab and my shahi korma. The cheese naan we had on the side was packed with cheese and very good.

On our second visit, we tried the vegan korma and tikka masala with rice. The tikka masala was flavorful, and the rice with raisins was a nice touch. However, the vegetables in the korma weren’t cooked evenly—some were undercooked while others were perfect. Despite this minor negative, the taste was good. I will give this dish...

In Lille you have plenty of choices in terms i of indian food. There are good, very good or less good ones. We were in a hurry and we were at this amazing restaurant before the opening. The persons from there were very sociable, attentive and nice with us. They offered an apero for free, and they guided us in finding and choosing the great dinner that we had, And you need to be really hungry as the portions are big big. There is no doubt about this review. Hopefully my comments will be taken as constructive criticism? Without any doubt. Not only the worst Indian restaurant, but possibly the worst restaurant I've ever frequented. The food was.... well. Shocking. But the fact it was served on cold plates, was all that I needed. The individual items were served in cold dishes. Come on guys, this is basic ? Then.... the bill came with blue, bubblegum. Whaaaatttt ? Unbelievable strange. There needs to be a good kick up the a@*@e...
