It took a very long time before we were served—the owner completely ignored us. They were quite busy, but this really took too long. Eventually, we were helped by a very friendly gentleman who spoke excellent English. We ordered bouillabaisse and tenderloin with foie gras, along with a small pitcher of white and red wine. The wines were fine.
Not all of the meat was good—some pieces were perfect, others were impossible to chew. I even had to spit one out and place it in a napkin on my plate. The bouillabaisse was a joke. We’re in Trouville, after all—fresh fish is delivered here daily. Unfortunately, it consisted of two tiny pieces of fish and the rest was just potatoes. We made a comment about it but were laughed off.
For dessert, we had three regional cheeses, which were delicious. When we went to pay the bill, we finally had contact with the owner—pathetic and unnecessary.

We took oysters (6) as a starter, mussels in marinade and mussels in cream - I like the latter more, personally. Great place to have a good meal sitting outside and looking at the people passing by.
