Sadly, it's disappointing. While there is potential, the villa needs investment, it looks crumbling in parts, the permanent displays are dated, and on-site services are limited. The best was the temporary exhibition, some beautiful paintings on show, but not enough to carry interest on its own. While it is an old villa, there is nothing left of the original interiors. The grounds haven't got much to show, and look like they need maintenance. Overall Trouville can do better, and should invest for the benefits of locals...
