We looked at reviews ahead of time, so we did not have high expectations. We got a yogert and a blueberry muffin. Both of which were very very good actually! We also got a cheese burger and fries, which were fine, we were hungry and they did the trick. Although it is fairly expensive for the food, you just need to be aware of the prices of the menu. Drinks are very expensive, but you can get a jug of water for free at the end. Always ways around. Worth it for being at such a beautiful location!

Pratique car au pied du château dans le domaine. Il faut donc avoir son billet d’accès au château. Tarifs des plats corrects et de bonne qualité (fish and chips, burger, supreme de poulet, jambon à l’os…). En revanche, il faut arriver tôt car dès 11h30, comptez 15 minutes minimum a 1h d’attente en moyenne jusqu’à 14h00. De plus les tarifs des entrées, boissons et desserts sont excessifs (même si les desserts goûtés ce jour là, tarte tatin et fraises, étaient très bonnes). Personnel serviable et gentil. Possibilité de manger en terrasse ombragée ou à l’intérieur dans des box d’écurie rénovés.

If you come with low expectations, and avoid overpriced breuvages, it's kind of ok. You'll still spend 20€ per person minimum for below average food... but it's what it is to be a tourist.

After a long tour and visit, the convenience of the cafe is really nice. You get quite a bit of food as well. The chicken and sides were delicious. And you can’t beat the view either.

Situé dans le domaine du château de Chenonceau, ce self-service propose des plats variés et plutôt bons. Cela a été plutôt une bonne surprise car on s'attendait vraiment à avoir un self pas génial. Les burgers étaient bons (avec option steak veggie), le fish and chips aussi. Nous avons testé plusieurs desserts qui étaient tous très bons : muffin choco, coupe de fraises, tartes tatin et citron. Il est possible de manger à l'intérieur ou en terrasse. Un peu d'attente mais le service est très rapide une fois la commande passée.
