Falcone — Restaurant in Lyon

Very friendly staff, nice interior. Food was ok, not spectacular. Maybe a bit too much cream on the pasta. By the end of the evening it gets very hot on the top floor. :-)

0,5 star for the food (food was just ok, pasta had too much cream, the plates of meat we had as starters were also ok but 5 slices of bread for 4 people is not enough. It was allowed to ask for more breaf and we did, but walking downstairs every time to get it ourselves is not really what you want to do in a restaurant). Maybe this restaurant is more focussed on pizza and we all had pasta. We can’t judge the pizza.

0,5 star for location (quite far from the heart of the city center)

0 star for extra’s: it seems like there is not enough staff to help in the restaurant. Our empty bottle of wine and empty basket of bread were left on an adjecent table even when the people who had reserved the table had arrived. Would have been nice to get some olives or bread or something while waiting for the starters. No pepper and salt on the tables. It’s the small stuff that gets a restaurant this fifth star in my reviews.

I was very positive at the restaurant because it was very kind of you to let us in without reservation, but that doesn’t mean a 5 star review...

We came to Falcone for a hen party dinner, and from start to finish it was perfect! The owner, Charlie, couldn’t have done more for us – he’s so passionate about his food and wine, and it really shows in every detail. He made sure we were comfortable, happy, and having a great time throughout the evening.

Charlie went above and beyond to accommodate us, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight was when he even put on our favourite music through the speakers so we could enjoy a completely personalised experience – such a thoughtful touch!

The food was amazing, the wine was incredible, and every member of staff was friendly and lovely. I would recommend Falcone to absolutely anyone visiting Lyon – it’s a place where you feel truly...

Absolutely delighted to have had a perfect dinner at this fine restaurant! Food and the drinks were top notch but the service was the highlight for us that evening. The staff was so thorough about explaining us the menu the we didn't have to spend any time researching on the internet on what to order (something that I normally do). The vibe of this place was lovely. The gentleman that works there is so charming and passionate about food which makes it extra special for you to dine at this establishment.

We only managed to order mains and drinks as we didn't come with much of an appetite, I would have loved to order deserts, but maybe next time. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to spend a good time for food and drinks. Kudos...
