One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time.
I ordered the prosciutto and fior di latte pizza and it was honestly one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. It was very burnt on the bottom and lukewarm at best when collected from kitchen. There was hardly any cheese on it and the crust was very dry. Far too much rocket on top. I will say it's not their fault I didn't like the ham but it was a bit too dry and chewy for me to be eaten on an already dry pizza. Absolutely would not recommend.
My friend's drink order was wrong and his vegetal pizza was literally just rocket and iceberg lettuce.
The ordering experience was also incredibly frustrating. Assuming the server was new but she didn't know what she was doing and it took a long time to order and pay for two people. She didn't appear to have a great grasp of English or French and was asking me to point at the menu when ordering water, after trying in both languages. Then she couldn't find it on the till and needed help. Very frustrating but hopefully due to a lack of training.
We sat upstairs and it was very messy and a bit dirty. Additionally not a fan of the buzzer system, for the amount you're paying I'd expect...
Read moreIT operates in an uncommon manner as a prepared food outlet and a sit down restaurant. One can view prepared food to go and as an eat in restaurant. The food is very good but as a resto the turnover of eat in customers is quick. The prices of food and wine are very good and well worth the visit allowing a great meal that met the meager dinner allowance of my university's reimbursement limit of 40 dollars Canadian for dinner. The place is well lit, bustling when we ate there a second time, and draws a young crowd, and older folks such as myself and spouse. The food is ready quickly - pick it up from the cooks station and bus your own table. We ate there twice between meals at a bit more expensive but great Italian restaurant Nano and the superb restaurant Le Sud. We thoroughly enjoyed them all. I recommend IT for its food, lively vibes, great prices and informal atmosphere. We will eat there again when we...
Read moreIf you're looking for a quick bite inside the Hotel de Ville area, this is the place to go. Price is okay for quite well made dishes. Ranges from pizza, pasta to salads, with great deserts and Italian treats 😋 the place serves all day and is usually crowded but it's okay since most people don't stay here for long, mostly come and going during shopping sessions. The room above is closed due to COVID restrictions so you might have to queue up to be able to seat. They offer vegetarian options that are really good as well. And finally people here are really nice, although people are supposed to give back there plater but never do it so it's...
