We came here as we were to IT in Paris La Defense which was an absolute delight. Unfortunately, this IT in Lyon Part Dieu does not reach the same level.
It starts from the staff being inattentive and careless. We arrived at 16:50 and were told the kitchen is not open yet. We had to ask when that will be and the cashier said 30 minutes instead of giving a time. We asked if that means 17:30 and he said no, that would be 40 minutes. Anyways, we arrived after 20 minutes and the kitchen was open. Asked for a draught beer, cashier tells me there is no draught beer and gives me a beer in the bottle. At the bar I am told that draught beer is working.
It is all a little chaotic here. Staff are loud, not attentive, there is a bird flying in the restaurant. But nobody cares. There is a manager here but focusing on his own stuff without taking care that the restaurant runs well.
Last the food, also this does not reach the quality of Paris, even when we are in the gourmet capital of Lyon. The noodles are sticky and dry, meat is very limited. Nothing of the great IT vibe in Paris.
This place lacks a lot of management, it is no wonder it...
Read moreStay away from this place. Ordered pasta al tartufo, cream was too liquid and tasted nothing, mushrooms were not fully cooked and there was lack of salt all over. Seemed as if you placed pasta together with the other ingredients in a tupperware and sticked it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Pistacchio tiramisu was most probably taken out the freezer the night before. On a positive note, bottled cedrata was good but that does not count much. Service is… basically inexistent, you have got to pick up your cutlaries at the counter, your plates somewhere else, then coming back at the same place for the parmesan cause it’s not on the table and nobody brings it to you, if you need water you have got to walk to a fountain, which aesthetically does the job but practically might be too far out from your table. Last but not least, all is obviously overpriced. Place itself does not look bad, far too many liquor bottles exposed though, might maybe make sense to stop buying them and start investing on food...
Read moreI visited this restaurant twice during my stay in Paris Olympic Games.
I like the pasta here, it is hot enough, the portion is not too small for a man. in order to save some more money,I didn't order their drinks. A tip for you: they serve tap water which is find the taste as good as Evian, serious. ^__^ yet you only need to ASK for the glass in the drink bar? ( there is a bar area for picking up the drinks )then you go straight to the rear area of the shop, you will see there is free water serving.
the toilet is clean. I like that.
the airconditong is not high enough ( that time Paris was so hot ) so please try not to sit on those tables under those spotlights. You will sweat when you have your hot food. Pick the one near the cashier, it will be much...
