I have been to this restaurant three times. The food was good; the service was excellent and the staff often served with a smile during the first two visits with my husband. If it was not for last month's experience, I would definitely give this restaurant a 5-star review and recommend it to my friends or family. However, the dinner I had with my family and my husband last month was the worst dining experience I have ever had in France.

My French husband and I tried to translate the menu for my family (they cannot read French) as we did not know an English menu existed. We were hungry and thirsty, so we tried to explain things quickly. However, a waitress with long dark hair in a ponytail repeatedly interrupted us. There was no doubt that we were still holding the menu and discussing it at that point. Instead of being helpful, she was extremely rude and pressuring towards us. Within a short period, she asked us several times if we were ready to order. I couldn't take it anymore and just wanted to have something to drink to relieve the pressure from that lady. However, that was a big NO to her. She said that I could not order drinks if everyone at this table could not order all the drinks we wanted at once. I did not want to be mean, so I did not say anything, but we would be ready to order if she could stop harassing us. It was a relief to find an English menu from another staff member. One of our knives did not cut well during our meal, so we asked her if there was another one that would work better. Continuing with a terrible attitude, she claimed that all the knives in the restaurant worked like this. She also insisted that no other knife could cut better than this. It was not a problem if you did not have other knives available, but it was unacceptable to respond to us in such an impolite way.

Overall, we did not feel welcome in this restaurant. Whenever we needed to order food or ask for help, it seemed as if taking our orders or helping us would be an enormous burden on the waitress. She seemed annoyed with us at every request we made (even if it was just once). To avoid any further unpleasant experiences with this particular waitress and to spare myself from enduring similar hardships, I will never return to...

I dined at tonight in Osteria and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the Spaghetti Rucola, which is labeled as spicy on the menu. I requested it to be extra spicy, and Chef Momo absolutely delivered ! Usually, when I ask for extra spicy dishes in Lyon, I end up disappointed, but this time, Chef Momo truly surprised me. The dish was perfectly extra spicy and absolutely delicious. I want to thank him sincerely for preparing such a flavorful dish exactly as I wanted.

I would also like to thank the waiter Jules for his wonderful service. He was very patient with me, polite, and recommended the perfect wine to pair with the pasta, which made the meal even better. I was greeted by one of the very sweet waitresses again (Eya), which made gave me a feel of an even more wholesome experience.

This isn’t my first visit to Osteria, and it’s only my second review. The friendly and attentive staff, along with the consistently delicious food, always make me want to come back. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience, and I look forward to...

Insanely delicious pasta, excellent coffee and cocktails. That's where the pros end, because everything is ruined by a boorish administrator who has no idea how to communicate with people in a kind way, not to mention the hospitality industry in general. As soon as we arrived at the establishment and waited at the entrance for us to be seated - there was no reaction for 10 minutes, we decided to sit down at a table ourselves (only a few tables were occupied on the terrace, everything else was empty) and then the administrator flew out and, shouting and waving his arms, demanded that we sit at a table for two (it wasn't a request, but a cry). By the way, 10 minutes later 2 more people came and independently took a table for 4 - this did not cause a problem in his eyes. The food was really very tasty, the waitress was very nice and tried in every possible way to smooth out the atmosphere, but there is no desire to come back to...

Great italian restaurant! I’m Italian and I was looking for some comfort food in Lyon, I came across this restaurant and I was really impressed by the options (among which the vitello tonnato which is something I never found not even in Italian restaurants in Paris)! I got a vegetarian pizza: the dough was really light and delicious, the condiment was great and fresh and the size of the pizza is huge! Also got the chocolate soufflé which was also great! Staff was really friendly and the overall atmosphere is really nice, quiet and intimate!
