Don’t normally write reviews but I can’t recommend this place enough! We went here on the first night of our trip to Lyon as it was next door to where we were staying. The waiter who took our reservation on the phone was so accommodating even though we wanted to dine quite late due to our late flight. They went out of their way to serve us and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere was lively and it felt like a local spot. The food menu downstairs was small but all the options were delicious, unique and elevated with small special touches - particularly liked the butternut schnitzel with pickled apple and the leeks with feta.

Though the pricing wasn’t cheap it felt decent value for the standard of service and the location. Would love to go back here to try the restaurant...

Since the restaurant opened 3 days ago the formula for now is plate to share in the bar area downstairs. However the food is amazing. There is a variety of choices meat, fish and a lot of veggie options. All the plates we tried were super good and full of flavors. One of the nicest restaurant i have tried. It's also very cool that the food and drinks are mostly local and seasonal. There is a nice choice of beer and cider as well as a lot more nice non alcoholics options than in most places I have been to. Staff is very friendly and it's obvious that people working there are happy and passionate about their job. Highly recommend trying it out. Looking forward to try the bistro restaurant...

Great food and exceptional staff. We selected both the vegetarian and meat tasting menus with wine pairings, and everything was outstanding. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and provided detailed explanations about each dish, including cooking techniques, ingredients, and the reasoning behind their wine pairings. I will definitely return and highly recommend this charming, intimate restaurant in Lyon's Croix-Rousse...

Le Limonadier was a highlight of our trip to Lyon. The menu is short, but every dish is outstanding—clearly focused on quality over quantity. Everything we tried was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The service was excellent too: friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the food and wine. A real gem—we’d happily return.
