Ramen Djizan Chevreul — Restaurant in Lyon

Heard from an acquaintance that this place was one of the best ramen shops around and was even better than a well-known Paris ramen shop. We tried it by tasting the piri-miso and the shoyu ramen. We were expecting something tasteful, overwhelming and all. But we were disappointed. The noodles were ok but both of the soups and the rest of the ingredients were tasteless, the tamago was overcooked, only one piece of chasu and the bamboo was from a can (not even fresh...). I entered this pleasant Japanese restaurant with narrow opening hours in a group of 12 people. I ordered dumplings with rice and bean sprouts. The soy sauce was pretty basic, but the dumplings simply caressed my taste buds. Along with the rice and bean sprouts, this meal was sublime, and the staff was extraordinarily kind and welcoming. Plus, I got free water.
